Solution to error 400 when IE browser opens URL containing Chinese characters

    1. Scene description

    Scene one:

    An HTTP 400 error occurs when the user uses the large data set export function of FineReport 10.0 in the IE browser environment to export the data set results;

    Scene two:

    After the user clicked the address of the scheduled report in the email in the IE browser environment, an HTTP 400 error occurred.

    The error message is as follows:


    2. Scenario analysis

    The HTTP 400 error in the above scenario only occurs in the IE browser environment, and the browser using the Chrome kernel can be accessed normally. It is verified that the URL contains Chinese and will be converted to UTF-8 encoding after being copied.

    II. Solution

    In the IE browser, click Settings>Internet Options>Advanced, tick Send UTF-8 query string of non-Intranet URL, and send the URL path in UTF-8 format, as shown in the figure below:
