    II. Describe

    Function description: Through the mail send button in the toolbar to achieve

    1) Select recipients according to department positions and roles.

    2) Control whether the recipient, cc and BCC allow custom values.

    3) The attachment format of the email allows multiple selection, and Excel03 format is added.

    Application Scenarios:

    1) The recipient should be selected according to the position and role of the department.

    2) When the user has high security requirements, it is hoped that the user who is not in the system cannot be typed by hand; When users have high requirements for flexibility, it is expected that email recipients can enter non-system email addresses by hand.

    3) Email attachments in multiple formats are required.

    III. Steps

    1. Sender settings

    Administrator login data decision platform, click Manage>System>Mailbox, You can configure the sender email address. For details, see Email. As shown below:

    2. Setting button poperties

    1) Configuring a single template

    Select Template>Web Attributes>Data Entry Settings>Individually set for the template>Settings>Email,select from the button properties of the form, as shown below:

    2) Configuring the server

    Select Template>Web Attributes>Data Entry Settings>Use server report settings, double-click the toolbar and select email for setting, as shown below:

    • The recipient can customize the value

    When "Custom Consignee" is checked, the email is sent successfully after editing and click OK, as shown below:

    If ""Custom Consignee"" is not selected, there will be a prompt if the email address is edited as a non-system user. At the same time, click OK, there will be a notification of email failure, as shown below:

    • Select recipients by department

    Check "Consignee by department" and click the email in preview mode, as shown below:

    • Select recipients by role

    Check "Consignee by role", click mail in preview mode, and a role widget will appear as shown below:

    Note : 

    • when you select recipients by department/role, if the email addresses of users are empty, other users with email addresses will not be affected.

    •  No recipient (the recipient is not selected; Or if you select a role or department, but users in the role or department are not bound to mailboxes), an error message is displayed. 

    •  The drop-down display of user widget in recipient is the user with mailbox configuration, and the drop-down display of department and role widget is all.

    Note: An individual setting for this template takes effect only for a single template. The server setting takes effect for a global template.
