It is convenient for users to read the log record template name; reduce disk usage.

Note：This document mainly introduces users who have customized log4j configuration, how to modify the log4j.properties file, so as to achieve the purpose of regular compression of the fanruan.log file.

3.Feature Introduction

• If the customer uses the upgrade tool to upgrade or directly install the JAR package to the 2019-05-20 and later versions, the system will compress fanruan.log at 0:00 every day to save disk space.

• If customers upgrade by replacing the JAR, they can directly delete the log4j.properties file to realize the log file timing compression function.

• If users need to customize the log4j configuration requirements, it is recommended to change the settings based on the log4j.properties file we gave, and put them in the specified directory, refer to the Operation in this doc.                 

1. Open File

If users need to customize the log4j configuration, they need to modify the log4j.properties file.

File path：%FR_HOME%\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\config\log4j.properties。

Open file with text editor, as shown follow：

2. Modify Log

Replace file content with file in attachment：log4j.zip

The specific modification content  as shown follow：

3. Save and Preview

After the file modification is saved, restart the report service and change the log level. The system triggers to read the log4j configuration file.

File folder：%FR_HOME%\logs\fanruan.log

1) The output fanruan.log file will be compressed automatically so as not to occupy large disk space. As shown below：

Note：The log of the previous day is compressed at zero o'clock every day.

2）Open fanruan.log，the template name will be recorded in the log. As shown below：

Note：Mobile terminal is not supported yet.
