HWP Export Plugin

Version

By installing the HWP export plugin, you can export reports as HWP files during pagination preview, data entry preview, and data analysis.

Plugin Installation

You can click to download the HWP export plugin.

For details about how to install the plugin on the server, see Server Plugin Management.

Procedure

1. Open a report in the designer and choose Template > Web Attribute from the menu bar. In the Web Attribute dialog box, choose Pagination Preview Setting > Set for This Template Separately, double-click HWP to add the HWP export button to the toolbar, and click OK to save the setting.

2. Save the report, click Pagination Preview, and click the HWP button on the toolbar above to export the report as an HWP file.

3. View the exported HWP file, as shown in the following figure.

Note:

1. The exported HWP file is named after the report name.

2. The HWP file must be opened with HWP Viewer. Download the HWP Viewer tool by yourself.

Note:

This plugin does not support export using New Data Entry Preview.

During HWP file export, sometimes you may encounter an error message shown in the following figure. Restart the designer for normal export.
