Filling by Blank Rows

Problem

The document Fixed Row Quantity Per Page describes that only the remaining data within a group will be displayed when the data in the group cannot fully occupy the rows (whose quantity has been configured) on one page. But you want to fill the page by blank rows until the configured row quantity is reached in this situation, as shown in the following figure.

Solution

This requirement can be met by the Complement function under Data Column > Advanced.

Template Preparation

Prepare a template.

Originally, the report displays only five rows of data per page in each group. You want to fill the page (on which the data is not sufficient to occupy the five rows) by blank rows.

Complement Setting

Double-click cell A5 to open the Data Column dialog box, click Advanced, tick the box next to Row Quantity in the Complement area, and enter the value 5, as shown in the following figure.

Note:

The value of Row Quantity specifies the minimum integer multiple of the total number of rows that need to be displayed for the current expandable cell. Since the fixed row quantity is 5 in this example, Row Quantity must be set to 5 to achieve the effect.

Save the template and click Pagination Preview. The effect is the same as that shown in section "Problem."

The template can be previewed on both the DataAnalyst and HTML5 apps. The following figure shows the display effect.
