Overview
The in-group sequence number function is to re-configure the sequence number after grouping. That is to say, the elements in each group are numbered separately. As shown in the following figure, elements in the New York and California groups are numbered separately.
Example
Report Opening
Open the report %FR_HOME%\webroot\WEB-INF\reportlets\doc\Primary\GroupReport\Group_Report.cpt.
Sequence Number Setting
(1) Method 1: Number elements by &Cell.
As shown in the following figure, enter the formula =&B2 and set Left Parent Cell to B2 in cell D2. In this case, elements are numbered by group (automatically limited in the A2 group).
(2) Method 2: Number elements by seq(Cell).
Enter the formula =seq(A2) and set Left Parent Cell to B2 in cell D2. This can achieve the same effect, namely, numbering elements in cell B2 in the A2 group.
