Overview
Application Scenario
All data rows are numbered uniformly. The final sequence number is determined by the number of data rows.
Implementation Method
Use the formula SEQ() to generate sequence numbers. However, sequence number generation can take effect only after the parent cell is set as required for the cell where this formula is located.
Example
Table Design
(1). Create a general report and create a dataset named ds1. The SQL statement is SELECT * FROM Sales_Volume.
(2) Design the table as shown in the following figure. Insert the formula SEQ() into cell A2, and set Data Setting to Summary for cell C2.
Parent Cell Setting
Select the cell A2 where the sequence number formula is located, and set its parent cell to B2, as shown in the following figure.
Note: The parent cell must be set as required for the cell where the formula is located. Otherwise, the setting will not take effect.
Effect Preview
Save the template. The pagination preview effect is the same as that shown in section "Application Scenario." The template can be previewed on the app and HTML5 terminals.
