III. Example
We'll take Han Wen (id: hanwen, pwd: 123456) as an example to show how to assign Manage permission after enabling Hierarchical Authorization in Global Setting.
1. Initial Status
Login the platform with the account of Han Wen(hanwen). Under the circumstances of no permission configurations, the platform interface will look like as below:
Note: the blank home page is due to the fact that View permission of Home page is not assigned by system administrators to Han Wen
2. Personnel Management
Log out Han Wen's account and then log in with an administrator's account. Click Permission and assign the Personnel Management permissions of Financial department to Han Wen, as shown below:
3. Manage
Go to Manage page, and assign View and Authorize permissions of User and Permission to Han Wen.
4. View Results
1) Login again with Han Wen's account. Now he is able to conduct user and permission management in Manage page.
2) Also, he can assign View and Authorize permissions of User and Permission to users from the Financial department.
