Function Description
This document introduces the page layout and functions of FVS dashboards in detail.
Visualization Dashboard Creation
Choose File > New FineVis Visualization Dashboard in the upper left corner of the designer. The Homepage tab is opened by default.
Creating a Blank Visualization Dashboard
Click Create Blank FVS Dashboard, and set Visualization Dashboard Name, Canvas Size, and Template Style.
1. Common Size and Custom Size are supported in Canvas Size.
Common Size: HD Screen (1280 * 720 px), UHD Screen (1920 * 1080 px), 2K Screen (2560 * 1440 px), and Wide Screen (4864 * 1294 px)
Custom Size: You can manually enter the canvas width and height (unit: px; value range: 1 to 50000 px).
2. Built-in Style and Custom Style are supported in Template Style. For details, see FVS Template Style.
Page Overview
The following figure shows the creation page of an FVS visualization dashboard.

1 | Menu Bar | Allows you to select New FineVis Visualization Dashboard from the drop-down list of File to create an FVS visualization dashboard. |
2 | File Area | Saves all the templates in the current FineReport project. |
3 | Data Source | Allows you to set template datasets and server datasets that can be called in templates. |

5 | Component Bar | Displays the icons and names of component categories. You can click a specified category and select the required component from the drop-down component list to add the component to the page for editing. |
6 | Action Bar | Allows you to undo and redo actions. Note: 1. In FineReport with the plugin of V2.10.0 or earlier versions, you can combine, ungroup, delete, align, and adjust the hierarchy of components on the action bar. 2. In FineReport with the plugin of V2.10.0 or later versions, the function entries for component combination and alignment are moved to the configuration area (serial number: 13). The buttons for deleting and adjusting the hierarchy of components are removed. You can select the component, right-click it, and select the required function from the drop-down list to perform the corresponding operation. |

Note: In FineReport with the plugin of V2.10.0 or earlier versions, the template setting entry is under Template > FVS Template Setting in the upper left corner of the designer. |
8 | Saving and Preview Area | Allows you to save or preview the template by clicking Save/Preview after creation. In FineReport with the plugin of V2.1.1 or later versions, you can switch between the PC and mobile modes by selecting from the icons to change the functional configurations and preview effects. |
