    Application Scenarios

FineReport versions before 11.0.6 only support the super admin to migrate resources.

However, in actual applications, many business personnel responsible for template/dashboard configurations are normally from different departments. It is time-consuming and inconvenient to always rely on the super admin for operation and communication.

In FineReport V11.0.6 and later versions, the super admin can perform the following operations under System Management:

    1. Assign the use permission of the resource migration to subordinate admins.

    2. Restrict subordinate admins to migrating only resources (such as templates, datasets, and data connections) within their own permissions.

    Implementation Steps

Many users may have the following questions during operations:

Question 1: Can templates still be exported if users have no permission for the template authentication (enable), while have permissions for directories?

Question 2: Can hyperlink templates be exported if users have permissions for directories while do not have permissions for the hyperlink templates in the directory template?

Question 3: Is the invisible Permission Configuration button equivalent to unselecting it?

The following table introduces how to assign permissions and can answer your questions.

Determine whether subordinate admins can import templates through Resource Migration.

    Export Example

Assign permissions of the system A to eoco, allowing eoco to export the directory Executives from the system A.

    Enabling Hierarchical Authorization

Log in to the decision-making system as the super admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Global Setting, enable Hierarchical Authorization and Directory Edit, and click Save.

    iconNote:
To enable Edit Directory, you need to first enable Hierarchical Authorization.

    Assigning System Management Permission

Select the permission carrier department/role/user. In this example, select the user eoco and the System Management tab, and assign the use permissions of Intelligent O&M and Resource Migration to eoco.

    iconNote:
It is ineffective to only enable Resource Migration without enabling Intelligent O&M. Otherwise, users cannot access Resource Migration through Intelligent O&M.

    Assigning Edit Permission of Directory

Log in to the decision-making system as the super admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Common Permission Configuration, and select the permission carrier department/role/user. Export Preview

Log in to the decision-making system as user eoco (eoco, 123456) and choose System Management > Intelligent O&M > Resource Migration > Resource Export.

Choose Directory > Executives and click Export to export the resource package resource.zip.

    iconNote:

    1. If Export hyperlink jump template at the same time is selected, hyperlink jump templates can be exported directly without any permission configurations.

    2. If subordinate admins cannot view the Permissions Configuration button, the effect is equivalent to that of not selecting it.

    3. Resource Migration of subordinate admins is not subject to the template authentication permission. Even if users have no permission for the template authentication, they can still export directories with the directory edit permission.
