Functions
This document introduces how to create a mobile data portal dashboard and publish it to directories in the decision-making system for other users to view.
Example Scenario:
A group company hopes that sales department managers in each branch office can perform the following operations on mobile terminals:
1. Quickly access common reports and go to commonly used sales data boards.
2. View the daily sales situation and progress of the company in real time.
3. Receive important announcements issued by the headquarter in a timely manner.
To this end, you can create a mobile data portal dashboard, including Bulletin Board, Quick Entry, and the Data Dashboard component, as shown in the following figure.
Preparation
Installing a Plugin
You can obtain the plugin at https://community.finereport.com/plugin/?id=81.
For details about how to install plugins in the designer, see Designer Plugin Management.
For details about how to install plugins on the server, see Server Plugin Management.
Preparing a Template
This document takes the dashboard Daily Sales Analysis_mobile.frm (under the path %FR_HOME%\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\reportlets\demo\Mobile\Mobile Dashboard) as an example.
Click to download the template: Daily Sales Analysis_mobile.frm.
Creating a Role
You need to create the role Sales Manager in the decision-making system and configure corresponding personnel for the role, because the data portal dashboard is eventually given to sales managers of each branch office.
Log in to the decision-making system as the admin, choose System Management > User Management > Role, add the role Sales Manager, and add Anna into the user list.
Creating a Directory
1. Choose System Management > Directory Management.
Click Add Directory to create the directory Sales Manager and set Terminals to Mobile for mounting templates required by the Data Dashboard component and the Quick Entry component.
2. Add relevant templates under the directory Sales Manager.
Setting a Server Address
Log in to the decision-making system as the admin, choose System Management > Data Portal > Portal Management, fill in the server address, and click Save, as shown in the following figure.
The address (in http://Domain name:Port number/decision or https://Domain name:Port number/decision format) needs to be accessible from the external network.
Adding a Portal
Log in to the decision-making system as the admin and choose System Management > Data Portal > Portal Management.
Click Add Portal, set Portal Name to Sales Manager-Homepage, Terminal to Mobile, and Portal Demo to Unified Data Portal, and click OK.
An empty data portal (with a search box) is created successfully and opened automatically in a new window. You can refer to the following steps to edit the data portal as needed.
Setting a Portal Theme
Click Portal Theme, select Light Green, and click Confirm.
Setting Banners
1. The style of the added banner component cannot change as the portal theme switches. You need to manually modify the banner style to Light Green.
2. Add a banner component and set relevant links and carousel intervals, as shown in the following figure.
Setting a Quick Entry
Add a relevant directory and link for the Quick Entry component.
Adding a Data Dashboard Component
Click Data Dashboard, select the directory created in section "Creating a Directory", add the directory into the data portal dashboard, and rename the component title as Sales Analysis.
Saving and Previewing
Save and preview the dashboard.
Mounting and Sharing

Copying a Link

Log in to the decision-making platform as admin, choose System Management > Data Portal > Portal Management, and click the Generate Link icon.
Setting a Homepage
Log in to the decision-making system as the admin, choose System Management > Directory Management > Manage Homepage, and click Add Homepage.
Set Name to Sales Manager-Mobile Homepage and Homepage Type to Link, and enter the link generated in section "Generating a Link."
Setting Directory Viewing Permissions
Log in to the decision-making system, choose System Management > Permission Management, and assign the viewing permission of the corresponding directory to the Sales Manager under Role.
Directories for which permissions need to be configured include:
1. Directory to which data portals are mounted
2. Directory used by the data dashboard component
3. Directory used in the quick entry component
4. Directory from which users hope to receive report dynamics. The setting item Terminal of this directory needs to include Mobile. This section takes Executives as an example.
