Cascader Widget Available for FVS Dashboards

The cascader widget has been added for the FineVis Data Visualization plugin of V4.5.0 and later versions. During template preview, the Cascader widget allows you to select options level by level based on their hierarchical relationships, ideal for scenarios involving small datasets with shallow hierarchies, for example, location selection (region > country > city). Additionally, the widget supports parameter-based linkage with other components to enable hierarchical data filtering and interactive data exploration, as shown in the following figure.

Optimized Color Panel for FVS Dashboards

In the FineVis Data Visualization plugin V4.5.0, a transparent color option is added to Standard Color on the color panel. The option is available in multiple color settings, such as component backgrounds, text, and chart color schemes, further enhancing dashboard flexibility and appeal, as shown in the following figure. /

Built-in Driver Update for Dameng (DM) Configuration Database

The built-in driver for the DM configuration database is updated in FineReport V11.5.7. Historical DM drivers apply lenient validation on database schema names, whereas the new driver in FineReport V11.5.7 enforces strict validation on the names.

If you need to update projects that use the DM database as the external configuration database to V11.5.7 or later versions, ensure that the database schema name is correctly specified; otherwise, the projects may be inaccessible after the update.
