Freezing the End Row with the New Calculation Engine Enabled

Function Description

End Area has been added to the Freeze setting area under Template > Repeat/Freeze > Pagination Preview with New Calculation Engine enabled to realize the repetition and freeze effect of the end row, as shown in the following figure.

Note:

You need to freeze the title and end rows together to realize the effect shown in the following figure.

Report Design

1. Create a general report, and create a dataset ds1 with the database query statement SELECT * FROM OrderDetails_new.

2. Design the report style, as shown in the following figure.

3. Add a Total: row, merge cells A3 to C3, and insert the formula sum(D2) into cell D3, which means to summarize the total quantity of orders, as shown in the following figure.

Enabling the New Calculation Engine

Choose Template > Report Engine Attribute on the menu bar, tick Enable Background Pagination, select New Calculation Engine, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.

Configuring the Repetition and Freeze Setting

Choose Template > Repeat/Freeze > Pagination Preview on the menu bar, tick Repeat Title Row From No.1 Row To No.1 Row and Repeat Last Row From No.3 Row To No.3 Row, tick Freeze No.1 Row To No.1 Row and Freeze No.3 Row To Last Row, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.

Effect Display

Save the template and click Pagination Preview. The effect is the same as that shown in section "Function Description."

Note:

1. After you freeze the end area with the new calculation engine enabled, the pagination engine will not take effect in the designer.

2. The effect cannot be previewed on mobile terminals.
