2. Function introduction
Data Entry Preview refers to previewing the template used to data entery on the web terminal. It is generally used when you only need to enter and modify data, and it can also be used to view data.
Let's take the built-in First_Form.cpt template as an example to see how to use Data Entry Preview and the settings of some of its properties.
II. Data Entery Preview
The data entry preview can not only be used to view, but also input and modify data online, so as to collect and store data.
1) Open the designer, open in the template paneldoc-EN/Form/RowFromFirst_Form.cptFor this template, click the inverted triangle below the preview button and select Data Entry Preview, as shown below:

Note: The preview mode of FineReport has a memory function. The default preview mode for the first preview of all new templates is paged preview, and the default preview mode for subsequent previews is the last open mode.
2) After clicking button, the template will be opened in the data entery on the web side. You can edit and modify the content of the template on the web side, and perform data storage operations. Compared with the paging preview, data entery in the preview URL. There is one more after the address&op=writeparameter. The value of the op parameter controls the preview mode of the template. If there is no parameter, it is a normal paging preview. If there is a parameter and the parameter value is write, it indicates that this is a data entery preview. As shown below:

III. Data Entery Preview settings
The page setting for data entery is only valid for using the preview template for data entery.
1. Setting method
1) Sever Configurationo Manager
The default setting method is Sever Configurationo Manager, and the functions at the bottom are grayed out and cannot be edited. This method applies to all templates under the current server.
If you want to modify the pre-defined report preview settings of the server, you can click Server > Sever Configurationo Manager> Data Entery Settings on the menu bar of the designer to modify it.

2) Individually set for this template
In the designer, click the Template >Web Attributes >Data Entery Settings , you can set the report page, as shown in the following figure:
The setting panel is mainly divided into three parts: the upper part is some effect settings for the template preview effect, the middle part is the toolbar settings after the template preview, and the lower part is the web event adding interface.

2. Sheet label page display position
When setting the display position of the sheet column in the browser when the report is previewed, it is divided intoTopandBottom, the default is Bottom, and the corresponding effects are shown in the following figures:

3. Report Display Location
When setting the display position of the report preview in the browser, it is divided intoCenterandLeft the default is Left, and the corresponding effect is the same as Section II.2 in pagination preview.
4. Set Background of the row being edited
After selecting the color, the background color of the row currently in the editing state will be displayed as the set color when in the data entry preview .

5. Unsubmitted leave reminder
When data entery, if any cells are in the edited state, when closing or switching the web page, a dialog box will pop up whether to submit or not.

6. Direct Display Controls
The report will display the controls directly when data entery previewed. By default, it is not checked. After checking, the effect is shown in the following figure:

7. Auto temporary store
For the data entery content, if it is not submitted when leaving the page, it will be automatically temporarily stored. It is not checked by default. After checking,data enteryin the value in the report and then refresh the page.
8. Toolbar
By default, the system selects Use Toolbar, that is, the toolbar will be displayed at the top of the page preview. If you need to hide the toolbar, uncheck it. The usage method is the same as Section 2.4 in Pagination Preview.
