Big Data Flow Map

I. Overview

When the amount of data is very large and reaches 10,000 levels, the chart loading will be slower and the display effect will not be good. As shown in the figure below, take the flow map as an example:

FineReport provides a big data optimization function, which can optimize the effect of the chart and speed up the display of the chart when the amount of data is large. The effect is shown in the figure:

II.Example

1. Data preparation

Create a New General Report, create a new file dataset File1, as shown in the following figure:

The File1 file records the origin and destination information. To download the file, please click:

2. Insert chart

Merge a piece of area cells, and insert cell A1 into the flow map, as shown in the figure below:

3. Binding data

Select Data in the chart properties panel, select the data set File1 for the data source, select Lat/Long for the geographic information, set the start point, end point latitude and longitude and area name, and use the FieldName for the series name, as shown in the following figure:

4. Set style-series

Set the color scheme and curve of the series as shown in the following steps, and turn on Large Data Volume Mode; in the example, the line width is set to the thinnest 0.5, and the opacity is set to 10, which can be adjusted by yourself.

5. Effect preview

Save the report, click the Pagination Preview, the chart display effect is shown in the following figure:
