Merge and Unmerge cells

Merge cells into one cell

Click menu cells > merge cells or  on the toolbar. The figure below shows the effect before and after merging.

Unmerge the cells and return to the original state without merging

Click menu cells > unmerging cells or on the toolbar. The following figure shows the effect of unmerging cells.
