Extended Chart - Non-traditional Column Chart

A new subtype is added to the Column in version 4.3 of the Extended Chart plugin: Non-traditional Column Chart.

Users can use this chart to customize the shape of a column chart. It is a variant of a column chart. Compared with ordinary column chart, it is more artistic and suitable for big screen display. The effect is shown below:

3. Function introduction

• Built-in 5 shapes, not support custom image.

• Data settings do not support multiple categories and data filtering.

• Interaction attributes do not support toolbars.

• Interaction attributes allow the axis to be flipped to a column chart effect.

5. Chart entry

In the Chart Type, added a Non-traditional Column Chart under the Extended Chart - Column, which can be optionally inserted into the report.

Custom shapes can be set under Style > Graphics > Shape. There are 5 built-in shapes: Triangle, 3D Triangle, Curve, 3D Curve and 3D Column.

The effect of each shape is as follows:

3. Special effect

After Reversal is enabled under the Interaction Attribute, the column chart effect can be changed.

Create a general report and a built-in dataset. The data is as follows:

2. Insert the chart

Merge a region cell and insert an non-traditional column chart, as shown below:

3. Bind the data

Bind chart data, as shown below:

Note: The category and series name are set in order to make each column color is different.

4. Set the style

Set the shape to 3D Column and the Series Interval to -100, as shown below:

5. Preview effect

Save the report, and click "Pagination Preview", the effect is as shown below:

Note: The mobile terminal is not supported.
