FVS Local Video Component

I. Overview

Applicable scenarios: Users who have installed the "FVS Large Screen Editing Mode" plugin can refer to this article to learn about the related functions of the FVS template.

2. Function introduction

Local video component to display various built-in videos, custom videos or online videos.

Three types of video are supported: built-in video, custom video, and online video.

Four video formats are supported: webm, mp4, mov, ogg.

Note: This article only introduces the unique functions of the video component, and other attributes are not repeated.

3. Notes

1) If the video component is in the first page of the template, the initial volume is not 0, and the Auto Play button is checked. Due to limitations of Google Chrome, when previewing the template, you still need to manually click the component to play the video.

2) If you do not check the Auto Play button, please be sure to check the Show Video Toolbar button, otherwise the video cannot be played manually/automatically during preview.

II. Add components

Create a new big screen template:

Add a local video component to the page, which displays "Select videos from the right panel" by default. As shown below:

III. Built-in video

FVS large screen template has some built-in video assets.

Select the local video component, click Content, select Built-in Video for the video type, and click Choose.

Users can choose the video they want, and click Finish to complete the video configuration. As shown below:

IV. Custom Video

Users can upload their locally prepared videos to the template and use it.

1. Upload video

After selecting the Custom Video type, click Choose, and then click +Upload Video to select a local video file and upload it.

Supported uploaded video files are webm, mp4, mov and ogg formats.

2. Select video

The uploaded video asset can be called in any local video component of the FVS template.

After selecting thecustom upload method, click Choose, after selecting the video asset, click Finish to call the asset. As shown below:

3. Delete video

Click Choose, hover the mouse over the corresponding video, and a delete button will appear in the upper right corner of the video.

Click the Delete button, and the prompt box "If deleted, all components that use this asset will be affected. Are you sure to delete?" will pop up. Click Delete to delete the custom asset.

If a local video component uses the deleted video asset, the content of the component will be empty when previewing.

V. Online Video

The local video component supports calling online video. Please make sure the server can access the video address filled in.

Select the local video component, click Content, select Online Video for the video type, and fill in the video address to call the video asset. As shown below:

The video address does not support relative addresses, only absolute addresses, such ashttps://src.fanruan.com/web/fr/video/finereportvideo.mp4.

VI. Set video attributes

Built-in video, custom video, and online video all support setting video attributes.

1. Filling method

If you choose the common filling method, you can choose three video display methods:

Video filling methodDefiniton
AdaptThe aspect ratio of the video screen remains unchanged, and the video is proportionally enlarged/reduced to ensure that the width/height fills the component
Strech
Video width stretches to component width, video height stretches to component height


2. Hue

The hue adjustment range is 0~360, as shown in the following figure:

3. Show Video Toolbar

1) If you do not check Show Video Toolbar, you cannot pause/start video playback, and you cannot adjust video volume.

2) If Show Video Toolbar is checked, click the video to pause/start video playback. Move the mouse over the video, a progress bar, a pause button, and a volume adjustment button appear below the video.

4 Auto play

1) If you do not check the Auto Play button, when previewing the template, you need to manually click the component to play the video. As shown below:

Note: If you do not check the "Auto Play" button, be sure to check the "Show Video Toolbar" button, otherwise the video cannot be played manually/automatically during preview.

2) If the initial volume is 0, and the Auto Play button is checked, when previewing the template, there is no need to manually click, and the video will be played automatically.

Note: If the video component is in the first page of the template, the initial volume is not 0, and the "Auto Play" button is checked. Due to limitations of Google Chrome, when previewing the template, you still need to manually click the component to play the video.


5. Loop playback

1) If the Loop Playback button is not checked, the video will only be played once. To play it again, you need to manually click the component to play the video.

If the Loop Playback button is checked, after the video is played, it will automatically start from the beginning and start again, repeating the cycle.


6. Initial volume

The video volume adjustment range is 0~100.
