FVS Plugin Installation & Interface Overview

2. Function introduction

This article will introduce the hardware requirements, plugin installation, interface introduction, function overview, and preview mount of FVS products in detail.

Note 1: This configuration is a requirement for the "client" computer of the preview, not the "server".

Note 2: The computer of the development environment can be slightly lower than the recommended configuration, but it is recommended to have a discrete graphics card.

Note 3: 3D components refer to: FVS scene map component and FVS 3D city component .

1. 3D scene with large amount of data

A large scene refers to a large amount of data, or there are many custom models. At the same time, 3D map and 3D city are applied, with more than 3 pages, and the city area is larger than the scope of the following map:

2. Common 3D scene

Common 3D scene refers to only one of 3D map or 3D city is applied, with no more than 3 pages , and the city area is approximately equal to the range of the following figure:

3. No 3D scene

No 3D scene refers to the c cockpit and instrument panel that do not use 3D components and pure 2D charts, as shown in the following figure:

Note: When there are no 3D components, some extended chart components may also cause the card to be slow. It is recommended to drag in the extended chart at the end when making a template.

After the plugin is installed successfully, click "File" to add the "New Big Screen Dashboard" button.

Click the "New Big Screen Dashboard" button to set the large screen template name and canvas size. Canvas size supports common and custom sizes. As shown below:

• Common size: including HD screen (1280*720px), SD screen (1920*1080px), 2K screen (2560*1440px), Wide screen (4864*1294px)

• Custom size: You can manually enter the width and height of the canvas, the unit is px , and the width and height value range is 300-50000px.

Note: For V1.2.0 and later versions, when creating a large screen template, it detects whether the environment file is missing, resulting in the inability to create or open a large-screen template.

If the content is missing in the local designer environment , the interface shown in the figure below will pop up, and click "Upgrade Now" to enter the designer upgrade interface.

In the remote design environment, the large screen template cannot be created, and the message "The environment file is missing, and the large screen template cannot be created or opened. Please contact the administrator for assistance." The administrator can view the report project environment and add related JAR packages.

Intranet users can download the corresponding version of the JAR package to the %FR_HOME%\lib folder of the designer installation directory.

The completed template can be previewed by clicking the "Preview" button in the upper right corner. Please use the Chrome browser to preview the FVS large screen template.

For V1.2.0 and later plugin versions, the FVS large screen template can be directly mounted to the decision-making platform directory, the viewing type is "preview", and the display terminal only supports the "PC" terminal, as shown in the following figure:

Before V1.2, the FVS large screen template does not support being directly mounted to the decision-making platform directory. Please use the "Add link" method to mount, and the link address is the template preview address.
