2. Application scenarios

Users will encounter the following situations in permission management:

• The permissions of multiple roles are similar, but only a small part of them are different. I hope that the permissions can be set for multiple roles in batch, and there is no need to configure each role separately.
  

• The newly added roles are expected to directly reuse the permissions of the existing roles to avoid reconfiguration and reduce workload.
  

At this time, the user can set permission reuse according to the steps in this paper.

3. Function introduction

• It supports reusing the permissions of a specified single or multiple departments/positions to a new or existing department/position.
  

• It supports reusing the permissions of the specified single or multiple roles to a new or existing role.

Note 1: for permission reuse of platform management, you need to turn on the Hierarchical Authorization button, otherwise you can only reuse "directory permission". To turn on Hierarchical Authorization, please refer to turn on Hierarchical Authorization

Note 2: the reused permissions can still be modified and saved in management system > permission management.

Note: this chapter takes "directory permission" of department reuse as an example.

1. Assign authority

1) Enter the decision-making platform as an administrator, click manage > permission > permission configuration, and configure the view, edit and authorize of "dashboard" for the financial department, as shown in the figure below:

2) Click technical support department to assign the view, edit and authorize permission of "chart" to technical support department, as shown in the figure below:

2. Reuse permission

1) Click the permission reuse button.

2) Select directory permissions, click department in reuse source, select technical support department, and click next; select financial department in reuse target, and click OK to reuse directory permissions of technical support to financial department. As shown in the figure below:

Note: after permission reuse, the permission of current department position will be replaced by the permission set of "reuse source" department position.

3. Effect display

The interface of the "directory" page of the financial department is shown in the following figure,

which reuses the permission of the technical support department. 

Note: this chapter takes role reuse "manage" permission as an example.

1. Adding roles

Enter the decision-making platform as an administrator, and add role1 and role2. For specific steps, please refer to: User management - roles

As shown in the figure below:

2. Assign authority

Click manage > permission, select role1 under the "role", and click manage to assign the view and authorize permissions of "Permission" to role 1. As shown in the figure below:

3. Reuse permission

1) Click the permission reuse button .

2) Select manage, click role in reuse source, select role1, and click next; select role2 in reuse target, and click OK to reuse the permissions of platform directory of role1 to role2.

Note: after permission reuse, the permission of current role will be replaced by the permission set of reuse source role.
