  • I. Overview

As shown in the figure below, when multiple series are set for map data.

In what order are the front-end series superimposed? When using different types of legend, what is the impact on multi series labels and data point tips? Next, we will introduce the map multi series settings and their display effects in detail.

    II. Area map

Taking the area map as an example, the data used in the following example is shown in the figure below:

    1. The Legend form is set to ordinary

    1) Multiple series are set in the area map, the legend form is set to ordinary, and label and Tooltip are turned on, as shown in the following figure:

    2.1.png

Note: this tooltip does not check to show all series, because after checking this option, all series will share the prompt, no matter whether the series is hidden or not, the prompt information of all series will be displayed.

    2) When the front end is displayed, the colors, labels and tooltips of the map are superimposed from bottom to top according to the sequence of the series, and the final display is the colors, labels and tooltips of the first series, as shown in the following figure:

    1.2.png

    3) Click a legend to hide the series corresponding to the legend. If the series are hidden, the colors of the next series will be displayed. If all the legends are hidden, the map will be gray, as shown in the following figure:

    2. The Legend shape is set to gradient

    1) Multiple series are set in the area map, and the legend shape is set to gradient. In the example, gradient is used, and label and tooltip are turned on, as shown in the following figure:

    2.2.png

Note: this tooltip does not check to show all series, because after checking this option, all series will share the prompt, no matter whether the series is hidden or not, the prompt information of all series will be displayed.

    2) In the front-end preview, there is no concept of series superposition. The map adopts the theme color of gradient color. Each area changes the depth of the theme color according to the gradient interval and the value of the first series, which indicates the size of the first series value.

Only the label and tooltip of the first series are displayed, as shown in the figure below:

    3) Drag the interval bar of the legend area to hide the series outside the interval. The area is gray and the labels and prompts are hidden, as shown in the following figure

    III. Other maps

    1. Point Map

The principle of multi series setting and superposition of point map is completely consistent with that of area map, as shown in the figure below:

    2. Flow Map

For the following two maps, you need to add an end region in the build-in dataset as shwon:

    flowdata.png

For more information about setting up the flow map, reference to Flow Map.

The overlay sequence of the flow direction map is completely opposite to that of the area map. The line colors are superimposed from top to bottom according to the sequence. When the front end previews, the color of the last series is finally displayed, as shown in the following figure

    3. Combination Map

The series stacking sequence and setting method of composite map are the combination of the three maps described above, that is, although they are combined into one map, the series stacking sequence still adopts their own logic, as shown in the figure below:

Note: the series of point map are always displayed above the series of area map and flow map, and the series of flow map are always displayed above the series of area map.
