I. Overview
1.1 Application Scenarios
For the chart block, report block and other components in the dashboard, the style adjustment takes a long time, the style is difficult to unify, and the production efficiency is greatly reduced. If some components with styles, functions, and sample data are encapsulated in the designer, users can directly reuse the encapsulated components to make templates, and the production efficiency will be greatly improved.
Using the "component library" provided by FineReport, the management of the component styles in the dashboard can be realized.
1.2 Function Introduction
Using the "component library" provided by FineReport, the main functions that can be achieved are as follows:
1) Download and install all components (online components) of Fanruan Market Component Mall.
2) Component management, including refresh, download, install, and delete.
II. Component Reuse
2.1 Operation
Open the dashboard, click on the "Component Library" in the property panel on the right, and use the four buttons on the upper right to perform component reuse operations. The buttons represent "Refresh", "Download", "Install" and "Delete". As shown below:
Click the "Download" button to open the FanRuan market (you can also directly open the FanRuan market and enter the Components Tab page), download the desired components, and then return to the designer and click "Install" to install.
Installation steps:
1) Click the Install button, select the locally downloaded components, and click OK, as shown in the figure below.
2) "Shared component successfully installed!" appears, indicating that the component is successfully installed, as shown in the figure below.
Deletion steps:
Click the Delete button, select the component you want to delete, and click Remove Selected to delete it, as shown in the figure below.
2.2 Copy to server installation
The component reuse function that comes with FineReport does not support remote design. When remote design needs to use components, it can only be installed by copying to the server after local installation. The operation steps are as follows:
1) Download the components in Fanruan Mall, and install the designer locally.
2) Copy the local installation path %FR_HOME%\webroot\WEB-INF\assets\FineReport.Reuse folder to the folder corresponding to the server deployment project.
3) Restart the server to take effect.
Note: %FR_HOME%\webroot\WEB-INF\assets\FineReport.Reuse folder stores the help files and property files of the reuse component, which cannot be moved or deleted.
