Sometimes, the region names in your map data may be inconsistent with the built-in ones in FineBI maps, causing data display failures in the front end. Therefore, FineBI adds the map fuzzy match function.
For example, if the built-in region name in the map is Anhui Province while the one in your data is Wan, you can match Wan and Anhui Province through the map fuzzy match function for frontend display, as shown in the following figure.
The following figure shows the frontend display effect.
The alias of the region can match the built-in region name. For example, Wan can match Anhui Province and Gusu can match Suzhou City.
The acronym of the region can match the built-in region name. For example, JS can match Jiangsu Province and NJ can match Nanjing City.
The detailed region name can match the built-in region name. For example, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province can match Nanjing City.
Currently, the regions with the same names cannot be fully matched with the built-in regions. For example, both Nanjing City and Kaifeng City have the Gulou District, which cannot be matched with the built-in regions correctly. In this case, you need to manually match the regions (with the same names) with the corresponding built-in regions.
The function is updated with data changes. That is, after data is updated, regions are rematched when you open the geographic role match popup window.
Sometimes, the region names in your data may not automatically match the built-in region names, as shown in the following figure.
In this case, you can manually match the region names in your data with the built-in region names. Select the needed built-in region name, as shown in the following figure.
Click Select a matched item on the right of the unmatched data, and enter keywords to quickly search the needed region, as shown in the following figure.
