Component Restoration

Application Scenario

When viewing a chart component, you hope to zoom in on a specific part of the chart to view details then restore the component to its original state.

Function Description

You can zoom in on and restore a component in FineBI.

The restoration function is used for charts that have been zoomed in or out for partial viewing. After you click the Restore icon, the chart inside the component will be restored to its original state.

Charts can be restored in both editing and preview modes.

Limitation

The restoring function is only applicable to column charts, bar charts, line charts, area charts, scatter charts, dot charts, and maps.

Take the following bar chart as an example. You can use the cursor to select the desired range, which will be zoomed in for viewing.

1. Click the component and click the Restore icon in the upper left corner to restore the component.

2. After you click the icon, the component will display the complete chart as before.
