Loading Animation on the Mobile Terminal

Application Scenario

FineBI allows you to customize the global loading animation function, enabling better mobile user experience in data perception.

The following figure shows the effect of the custom loading animation.

Function Entry

Since the system provides default partial loading animations, no customization entry exists for setting the partial loading animation.

You can set the global loading animation under System Management > Mobile Platform > Template Preview Configuration > Loading Animation Setting, as shown in the following figure.

The following introduces the three setting items in Loading Animation Setting, respectively.

Global Loading Animation

Default

If you select Default in Global Loading Animation, the default animation of the system will be used.

The following figure shows the default animation effect.

Hiding

If you select Hide in Global Loading Animation, no global loading animation will be displayed. In this case, Animation Background and Show Cancel Loading Button will disappear.

Custom

If you select Custom in Global Loading Animation, you can upload GIF images as loading animations. This document provides some GIF resource packages for you to use in the end.

Note: 

Currently, only GIF files are supported. If you upload files of other types, an error message "Unsupported File Type" will be displayed.

Note:

Since performance issues may occur during image loading for GIF files with excessively large sizes, you are advised to compress the GIF files with relatively large sizes.

The following figure shows the effect of the custom animation.

Animation Background

Default Effect

If you select Default Effect in Animation Effect, the loading animation is displayed with a white background and gray border.

Custom

If you select Custom in Animation Effect, you can customize the background color of the loading animation, as shown in the following figure.

The following figure shows the effect after configuration.

Showing Cancel Loading Button

Show Cancel Loading Button is enabled by default. You can disable Show Cancel Loading Button to cancel the animation.

If you enable Show Cancel Loading Button, a cancel icon will be displayed in the upper right of the loading animation, as shown in the following figure.
