Application Scenario
Each column of each category is stacked by several series, and the total height of the column is the sum of the several series. The stacked column chart can be used to compare data from different series within the same category. Besides, the chart can also be used to compare the total data between different categories. You can use the stacked column chart in the following scenarios:
Compares the sales of different products in different regions
Compares the performance of different departments or teams in a certain indicator (such as sales and profit), as well as compares the data changes of the same department or team in different periods
Compares the total sales of different regions and observes the product sales in each region
Basic Requirement
Chart Effect | Dimension Field | Indicator Field |
Stacked Column Chart | > =1 | 1 |
Chart Feature
Advantage: The chart can clearly display the value of different indicators in each dimension to help you compare the data volumes of different dimensions.
Disadvantage: Stacked column charts are only suitable for data without too many dimensions.
