System Page Multilingual Switchover

Application Scenario

If you require multilingual switchover only on the system page of the FineBI decision-making platform, you can switch languages among simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean on the system page after installing the I18N Changer plugin.

Notes

1. Multilingual switchover is supported only on the system page of the decision-making platform. The following table shows the supported range.

Note:

This plugin does not support the multilingual switchover of all content on the FineBI decision-making platform page. If you want to switch the languages of the platform title and directory content on the platform, you need to use the Multilingual Configuration plugin. For details, see Platform Multilingual Switchover.

2. The multilingual switchover of dashboard content is not supported. For details about switching the languages of dashboard content, see Dashboard Multilingual Switchover.

You can obtain the I18N Changer plugin at https://community.finereport.com/plugin/?id=86.

For details about how to install the plugin in the designer, see Designer Plugin Management.

Configuration Steps

1. Log in to the FineBI system and choose System Management > System Setting > General to view the newly-added option of Internationalization Configuration.

2. Enter the language you need to switch to. (For multiple languages, you need to separate them with commas when entering, click Save, and refresh the platform page to make the configuration take effect.)

Browser Language Switchover

You can also achieve the language internationalization of FineBI products by adjusting the browser language. The following takes Google Chrome as an example to explain how to switch the browser language. For other browsers, you can simply modify the corresponding default language. Details are not elaborated here.

Open Google Chrome, click Settings, select Languages on the settings page, select Chinese (Simplified), select Display Google Chrome in this language, and restart the browser.

After modifying the language settings and refreshing the browser, the language of the login location on the login page will be switched accordingly. The following figure shows the language (simplified Chinese) of the login page.

After you switch the browser language to simplified Chinese, when you click the help document links on the platform, you will be redirected to the help documents of simplified Chinese, as shown in the following figure.
