Column charts can be used to display how each piece of data changes during a period and the data comparison. For example, you can compare the traffic flows at a certain intersection during different periods, display sales volumes of different months, or a company's profits in different years through column charts.

Advantage: Column charts can clearly display the quantities to help you compare the differences in the data.
Disadvantage: Column charts are unsuitable for large datasets.
1. Log in to the system as the admin, click My Analysis, select a folder, and click New Subject.
2. Choose Current Project > Public Data, search for Sales Table, and click OK.
2. Click the Custom Chart icon in Chart Type, and select Column Chart from the drop-down list in Graphic Property. Drag the City field into Horizontal Axis and the Sales field into Vertical Axis.
Setting the Color
Click the Color column and set the color of the column chart, as shown in the following figure.
Note:Columns can be displayed in different colors based on different cities after you drag the City field into the Color column.
Setting the Label
Drag the Sales field into the Label column. Then each column displays the sales value of each city.
Sort Based on the Sales Field
Hover the cursor over the City field in Horizontal Axis, and choose the drop-down icon > Descend > Sales to set the display of columns in descending order based on sales volumes.
