FineBI Version
Functional Change
6.0
/
The public link function allows all users to publicize their created dashboards. However, this may lead to internal data leakage.
Therefore, FineBI has added management for public link permissions. When public links are needed, you can assign permission to corresponding users, which is helpful for management.
Note: Only the super admin can assign the sharing permission to other users. Sub-admins cannot assign this permission.
For example, assign the sharing permission of Dashboard public link to Sales director, so that the Sales director can generate public links for the dashboards created and share them with others.
The super admin logs into FineBI, goes to Manage > Permission > General permission configuration, and selects the permission carrier Dept./Role, or users from User List.
This example selects Sales department > Sales director. Click Share Authorization tab and configure the Use permission of Dashboard public link for eoco.
Sales director eoco logs into FineBI and can create public links for dashboards.
The generated public link can be shared with others to view, regardless of whether they have Use permission or not.
For safety, the generated public links cannot be exported.
If the admin wants to revoke the permissions of previously assigned users, the admin can enter the Permission interface and directly disable the permission.
At this time, the public links previously generated by the user will become invalid. When the user accesses the link, a prompt will be displayed indicating that the sharing has been canceled or does not exist.
When the admin re-enables the Use permission of public links, the corresponding links will be reactivated.
