    Application Scenarios

You may encounter the following situations in permission management:

Multiple roles have similar permissions with only minor differences. You hope to set permissions for multiple roles in batches without having to configure each role individually.

For newly added roles, you hope to directly reuse the permissions of existing roles and make minor adjustments based on them, thus avoiding reconfiguration and reducing workload.

In this case, you can follow the steps in this article to set up permission reuse.

    Functions

Allow reusing the permissions of specified single or multiple departments, positions, or roles for a newly added or existing department, position or role.

    iconNote:

    1. Hierarchical Authorization needs to be enabled for reusing the platform management permission, otherwise, only the Directory permission can be reused.

    2. The reused permissions can still be modified and saved in System Management > Permission Management.

    3. When the data permission is reused, row and column permissions cannot be reused. After reusing data permissions, the admin needs to set row and column permissions separately for departments or roles.
