The admin can perform operations on each scheduled task such as Pause, Run Once, Edit, Copy, View, and Delete.

    Run Monitoring

The admin logs into FineBI, and chooses Manage > Task Schedule > Run Monitoring. The Run Monitoring interface includes Task Execution Detail and Task in Progress.

    Task Execution Detail

    1. Task Execution Detail, similar to logs, can record brief information about the operation of scheduled tasks.

    2. Task Execution Detail only display today's task running data by default.

    There are two display modes.

    • Hierarchy:

Executing the scheduled task once will generate one execution result. You can click Details to view the execution status of each task node.

If the scheduled task inherits Custom Class Judgment or skipping task sub-nodes, the node status and the overall task status are skipped.

If the scheduled task node is executed successfully, the node status is successful. All node status and the overall task status are successful.

If the sub-node execution of the scheduled task fails, the node status and the overall task status are failed. You can view the failure reason.

    • List:

For the execution status of each scheduled task node, the system will generate an execution result displayed in the detail table.

    3. The running data of scheduled tasks for all dates can be displayed through Search, and the admin can:

    • Click  directly, and the list will display the running data of scheduled tasks for all dates.

    • Enter the task name manually, and perform a simple fuzzy search for the running data of scheduled tasks for all dates.

    • Click  to pop up the drop-down box under the hierarchical structure, and search for the running data of scheduled tasks for all dates through a complex fuzzy search according to Task Name, Runtime, and Status.

    • Click  to pop up the drop-down box under the list structure, and search for the running data of scheduled tasks for all dates through a complex fuzzy search according to Task Name, Runtime, Run Type, and Status.

    Task in Progress

If the scheduled task is being executed, it will be displayed in Task in Progress in the Run Monitoring tab page.

The default display in the Task in Progress list includes all tasks in progress.

    Running Failure Reminder

The admin logs into FineBI and chooses Manage > Task Schedule > Global Setting to set the notifications for failed runs.

Reminder methods: SMS Reminder, Platform Message, and Email Reminder.

Reminder content: task name and time of failure to run.

    iconNote:

    1. If Task Restart is ticked in the scheduled task, a failure notification will not be sent immediately after the task fails, and the task will be restarted. Failure notification will only be sent if the restart still fails.

    2. To use SMS Reminder, you need to first enable the SMS function. For details, see SMS.

    3. To use Email Reminder, you need to first configure the mailbox service. For details, see Mailbox.
