Allowed the admin to manage global login session flexibly through Login Timeout Setting.

    Application Scenario

For security considerations, you can set a login timeout duration, after which users will be automatically logged out of the system.

For convenience, you can enable Show Keep Logged In to have the Keep Logged In option displayed on the login page. In this way, if this option is ticked, the time of staying logged in is 14 days.

If 14 days is too long for you, you can untick Keep Logged In and customize a login timeout duration (for example, seven days) instead.

    Function Description

You (the admin) can enable or disable Show Keep Logged In, and set a timeout duration in Login Timeout. In this way, the inactive user will be automatically logged out of the system after the set timeout duration.

This function is supported on mobile terminals.

Tick Keep Logged In when logging in to the system as the user.

The default login timeout duration (14 days), rather than the timeout duration set in Login Timeout under System Management > System Setting > Login > Login Timeout Setting, takes effect in this case.

    Scenario two

Choose System Management > System Setting > Login > Login Timeout Setting as the admin and enable Show Keep Logged In.

Untick Keep Logged In when logging in to the system as the user.

The login timeout duration set in Login Timeout under System Management > System Setting > Login > Login Timeout Setting takes effect in this case.

Choose System Management > System Setting > Login > Login Timeout Setting as the admin and disable Show Keep Logged In.

Keep Logged In does not appear when users log in to the system and the effect is the same as that of unticking Keep Logged In.

The login timeout duration set in Login Timeout under System Management > System Setting > Login > Login Timeout Setting takes effect in this case.

    Scenario One

Show Keep Logged In Enabled by the Admin

Log in to FineBI as the admin, choose System Management > System Setting > Login > Login Timeout Setting, enable Show Keep Logged In, and set the timeout duration in Login Timeout, as shown in the following figure.

When the session remains inactive beyond the set login timeout duration, for example, 10 minutes:

    1. If a user has logged in to FineBI and the session remains inactive for more than 10 minutes, the user will be logged out of the system for security reasons, with a pop-up prompt displayed, saying "Re-log in as login information has expired."

    2. With Role Permission Authentication enabled, if a user has logged in to FineBI and the session remains inactive for more than 10 minutes during a template preview, the user will be logged out of the system for security reasons, with a pop-up prompt displayed, saying "Re-log in as login information has expired."

    iconNote:
A session is deemed inactive when no platform operation is detected. Operations on the template (such as redirection and drill-down) will not be detected or trigger token refresh.
