Application Scenario
A stacked percentage column chart displays the proportion of each indicator in the total by dividing each column into different parts. The chart is very suitable for showing the changes of each indicator compared to the whole, and the comparison between different indicators.
For example, you can use a stacked percentage column chart to show the monthly sales proportion changes by product category, as shown in the following figure.

Chart Feature
Advantage: The stacked percentage column chart clearly displays the proportion of each category in the total, and the proportion changes of each category in different periods.
Disadvantage: Too many categories can make the chart difficult to understand. Sometimes categories with small proportion is not so obvious visually that important information may be overlooked.

Data Preparation
Create an analysis subject, and upload the sample data, as shown in the following figures.
Component Creation
1. Click Component in the lower left corner.
2. Select Stacked Column Chart in Chart Type.
3. Drag Date (YYYY-MM-DD) and Sales Volume from the left to-be-analyzed area into the horizontal and vertical axes of the analysis area respectively, and drag Product Type into the Color bar in Graphic Property, as shown in the following figure.
4. Click the drop-down icon next to Date (YYYY-MM-DD) in the horizontal axis and select Year-Month, as shown in the following figure.
5. Click the drop-down icon next to Sales Volume in the vertical axis, and choose In-Group Percentage > Quick Calculation, as shown in the following figure.
Dashboard Creation
1. Click the Add Dashboard button at the bottom of the editing page of the analysis subject.
2. Drag the component into the dashboard on the dashboard editing page, as shown in the following figure.
3. Select Edit Title from the drop-down list, set Font Style to Custom, set the title to Stacked Percentage Column Chart - Single Indicator, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.
