Overview
Problem
After database update is completed when the data attribute is set to real-time data for data tables, the post-updated data of relevant SQL datasets is not displayed on the data preview page, but displayed on the preview page during SQL editing. Data display inconsistency also exists on the dashboard page after database update.
For example, as shown in the following figure, after Real-Time Data is enabled, the calculation result of SQL table 1232 is empty, but the table contains data on the preview page during SQL editing.
Cause
After the cache setting is enabled, the previous data is cached on the data preview page. Therefore, the data preview page still displays the previously cached data after database update.
However, the cache operation does not take effect for the preview page during SQL editing. Therefore, the latest data is displayed on the preview page during SQL editing.
Data display inconsistency on the dashboard page after database update is caused by the same reason.
Solution
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin and choose System Management > System Setting > General and set Extraction Cache and BI Direct Connect Cache Setting.
