Functions
Directory Style settings include Directory Default Status, Sidebar Default Status, and Directory Cover.
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin and choose System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style to set the directory style.
Directory Default Status
There are two options for Directory Default Status: Collapse All (default value) and Expand All.
Collapse All
If Collapse All is selected, the first level directory folders and all template nodes under the root directory are displayed by default.
When you open other directory nodes or switch between directories and other tabs, the previously opened directory nodes remain expanded.
Expand All
If Expand All is selected, directories and templates of all levels are expanded under the directory tree.
When you switch between directory nodes or switch between directories and other tabs, the previously expanded/collapsed directory nodes remain unchanged.

Sidebar Default Status
The FineBI project allows setting the default status of the directory sidebar. The default is Fixed.

Fixed
If Fixed is selected, the directory sidebar is displayed under the Directory tab by default.
You click in the upper right corner of the sidebar to collapse the sidebar.



Unfixed
If Unfixed is selected, the directory sidebar is collapsed under the directory tab by default.
Hover your cursor over the button to display the directory sidebar. Click
in the upper right corner of the directory sidebar to keep the sidebar visible.



Directory Icon
You can set the icons for the directory. There are two types of icons: pre-defined and custom icons.
Using Pre-defined Icons
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin, choose System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style > Directory Icon, and select the template/directory that needs to be set.
There are 22 built-in pre-defined icons. You can select desired ones as the directory icons.
After the directory style is set, click Directory in the FineBI system to view the set directory icon.
Customizing Icons
Uploading Custom Directory Icon
Log in to the decision-making platform as the admin, choose System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style > Directory Icon, and click Custom.
Clickand upload an image. You can use it as the directory icon.
Icon size should be 24*24px. It supports JPG and PNG formats.
Customizing Directory Icon
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin, and choose System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style > Directory Icon.
Select the template/directory that needs to be set, and then choose the desired custom icon.
After the directory icon is set, click Directory in the FineBI system to view the effect.
Deleting Custom Directory Icon
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin, choose System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style > Directory Icon, and click Custom.
Click the Edit button, select the icon to be deleted, delete it, and click Complete.
Directory Cover
You can set the cover for templates under the directory. There are pre-defined covers and custom covers.
Using Pre-defined Cover
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin, click System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style > Directory Cover, and select the template that needs to be set.
There are 25 built-in pre-defined covers. You can select the desired one to set the directory cover.

If Platform Theme is switched to Modern, the display effect of directory cover is as follows.

Theme switch does not affect the set directory cover.
Customizing Covers
Uploading Customized Directory Cover
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin, and choose System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style > Directory Cover.
Select the template under the directory and click Custom.
Clickand upload an image. You can use it as the directory cover.
Cover size should be 24*24px. It supports JPG and PNG formats.
Customizing Directory Cover
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin, and choose System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style > Directory Cover.
Select the template/directory that needs to be set and choose the customized cover to set the directory style.

After the directory style is set, switch Platform Theme to Modern, and click Directory in the decision-making platform to view the set directory cover.

Deleting Customized Directory Cover
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin, choose System Management > Appearance Configuration > Directory Style > Directory Cover, and click Custom.
Click the Edit button, select the cover to be deleted, delete it, and click Complete.
