The DataAnalyst app allows you to download FineReport templates from the BI project to local devices, enabling you to view relevant templates in a network-free environment.
When the network is connected, you can log in to the decision-making system on your mobile device, open a template in Directory, and click the download icon in the lower right corner to download the template for offline access.
The template is downloaded successfully for offline access when the message "Offline successfully" is displayed, as shown in the following figure.
1. Only FineReport general reports/FRM reports mounted to Directory can be downloaded for offline access. Templates and general webpages opened through hyperlinks/homepages cannot be downloaded for offline access.
2. BI dashboards, maps, and data entry reports cannot be downloaded for offline access.
3. If you download a multi-page template for offline access, all pages will be downloaded for offline access.
You can choose Setting > Offline Cache to view the templates that have been downloaded for offline access. The directories of templates downloaded for offline access are sorted by time.
The offline cache page displays an offline-to-online switchover icon at the bottom.
If the network environment is normal, you can click the switchover icon to jump to the corresponding online template. Then you can click the icon to return to the directory where the template is downloaded for offline access.
If no network is connected, the message "The current network is not available. Connect to the network and try again." will be displayed. If the template is abnormal, the message "Failed to be opened." will be displayed, and no redirection will be performed.
In a network-free environment, enter the correct username and password. After you click Log In, the prompt "The network is not available. Use the offline data?" is displayed.
Click Use to jump to the offline cache page where you can view the templates downloaded for offline access, as shown in the following figure.
You can click the icon in the directory where the template is downloaded for offline access and return to the Setting page. In this case, you can still click Directory, Common, and Message, but the prompt "You are offline now. Connect the network and tap the screen for reloading." will be displayed.
After the network environment is normal, tap the screen for reloading. In this case, you can read the online directory, as shown in the following figure.
Offline templates are slightly different from online templates.
1. General reports and FRM reports that are not opened from directories cannot be downloaded for offline access. BI dashboards, maps, and data entry reports cannot be downloaded for offline access.
2. Offline reports cannot be filtered, collected, or shared. The icons for these functions are not displayed on the toolbar.
3. An offline multi-page report displays page-turning icons on the bottom toolbar.
4. Offline reports do not support parameter query, frontend JS methods, or hyperlink linkage.
5. The widgets in offline reports are grayed out and cannot be edited. Previously edited images cannot be displayed or used in offline file widgets.
6. If an FRM report with tabs is downloaded for offline access, data in all parameter-linked tabs is downloaded for offline access by default, and tabs are switchable during offline access.
7. When you click the offline-to-online switchover icon, the message "The current network is not available. Connect to the network and try again." will be displayed if no network is connected, or the message "Failed to be opened." will be displayed if the template is abnormal.
If a template downloaded for offline access is re-downloaded, the original offline template will be overwritten and updated, and all offline templates will be re-sorted by update time.
Swipe left on a template and click the deletion icon to delete the offline template, as shown in the following image.
