Function Description

When previewing data in My Analysis, you can group data using Field Group which helps you locate fields during visual analysis.

Field Group Setting

1. Create an analysis subject, choose Current Project > Public Data, search for the sample data DEMO_CONTRACT and click OK, as shown in the following figure.

2. Click Save to save the analysis subject and click the Exit icon, as shown in the following figure.

3. Choose My Analysis > Analysis Subject and click Field Group, as shown in the following figure.

4. Add three groups Contract, Customer, and Product, as shown in the following figure.

Note:

        Group names cannot be duplicated or left blank, and cannot duplicate ungrouped field names.

5. Click Edit to enter the analysis subject, click Component to view the grouped fields in the left sidebar. You can quickly select required fields and drag them into the Dimension and Indicator bars respectively, as shown in the following figure.

Field Grouping Management

Delete a field group and the fields under the deleted group will be displayed in Ungrouped, as shown in the following figure.

Move fields to another group: Select a field, click Move to, and select the destination group, as shown in the following figure.

Search for fields: When too many fields exist, you can manually search for fields as shown in the following figure.
