1.2 Application scenario
FineBI provides the function of adding calculation indicators to recalculate existing fields so that new fields can be obtained.
For example: the user uses the calculation indicator to add a new field, when the "Sales" is greater than "5000", the sale is high, as shown in the following figure:

1.3 Feature introduction
Support adding dimension calculation indicators and indicator calculation fields.
2. Calculation indicator
2.1 Add calculation indicator
On the component editing interface, click the + button in the area to be analyzed. As shown below:

Enter the calculation indicator setting interface, the interface is introduced as shown in the figure below:

FineBI can select many functions.
The field selection section can select all types of fields in the current table and date filter component fields, text filter component fields, and numerical drop-down filter component fields.
2.2 Calculation indicator settings
Modify the name of the calculation indicator, enter the function, field, operator, etc. that the formula needs to use in the formula input area, and click OK to save.
Add a new calculation indicator"Average Price", enter the formula and click OK to save. As shown in the figure below:

Note: The fields in the formula here need to be clicked to select from the left, and manual input is invalid.
2.3 Calculation indicator operation
The new calculation indicator appears in the field to be analyzed. Click the drop-down button, and the operations that the calculation indicator can perform are shown in the figure below:

Note: After the calculation indicator has undergone dimension or indicator conversion, the operation of the dimension/indicator to be analyzed is no longer supported and cannot be edited; after the copied calculation indicator is copied, the supported operations of the indicator are the same as the copied indicator.
2.4 Common filters for calculation indicator
If you need to filter the calculation indicator in detail before using the component calculations, you can do so by filtering the fields used in the calculation indicator in detail.
Normally use "Result Filter" and "Analysis Area Field Filtering".
3. Precautions
When the result obtained is only a numeric type, it will be output to the indicator area to be analyzed, and when the result contains a date and text type, it will be output to the dimension area to be analyzed. These dimensions and metric fields can be transformed into each other.
The results obtained are all output to the indicator field, whether they are numeric, text, or date types, and these indicators cannot be converted into dimensions.
Note: At this time, the indicators of text and date types can only be dragged and dropped to the dimension bar of the analysis area.
