COUNT_AGG

COUNT_ AGG() counts the data of the specified dimension (the number of non empty cells). With the switching of the user's analysis dimension, the calculation field will automatically adjust dynamically with the dimension.

Real-time data supports the use of a parameter of any type.

When the user's horizontal axis is the dimension field "Day", the value returned by the calculated field COUNT_AGG (Sales) on the vertical axis is the number of daily sales.

When the user horizontal axis is the dimension field "Month", the value returned by COUNT_AGG (Sales) is the number of monthly sales.

For example, if you want to use the built-in dataset "Contract fact sheet" to calculate the number of contract signings per year, you need to first drag the "Contract signing time" into the horizontal axis and set the grouping method to "Year", as shown in the following figure:

Create a calculation indicator, name it "Contract quantity", enter the formula: COUNT_AGG (contract ID), click "OK", as shown in the following figure:

COUNT_ AGG is often nested with other functions for conditional counting.
