1.2 Introduction to the map

The built-in data map of FineBI is powerful and can realize rich map display effects. Its function is as follows:

• Supports map types such as drill map, heat map, flow map, point map, area map, and custom map.

• Built-in GIS layers such as Gaode and mapbox, and also support custom GIS map background.

• Functions such as map zooming and location positioning can be realized.

• Support custom WMS service to make offline maps.

The map types and production methods supported by FineBI are shown in the following table:

Generally speaking, the GIS layer is the map background. Here, the effect of map settings and no GIS layer is given to facilitate users to understand what a GIS layer is.

FineBI has built-in layers that can be used directly, and of course it also provides the function of customizing layers.

3.1 Built-in GIS layer

There are two types of built-in GIS layers, as follows:

• Standard: Several standard style themes of AutoNavi map can meet the matching of different style templates, and the map compliance requirements are relatively good.

Note: WebGL has memory limitations. When there are too many map components using standard high-level layers, the background of the map components may not be loaded.

• Customization: The official layer is customized using custom tilelayer, which is built into the product for users to use.
