Web Server Deployment

FineBI is a servlet application.

A servlet is a server-side Java application that is platform and protocol independent and can generate dynamic Web pages. It acts as an intermediary between client requests (web browsers or other HTTP clients) and server responses (databases or applications on HTTP servers).

Therefore, FineBI must be deployed under Web application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, etc. When the Web application server is started, the FineBI Servlet will be loaded, so as to interactively browse and modify data. The whole process is as follows:

The FineBI installation file is essentially a Tomcat , if the enterprise uses FineBI, it is recommended to deploy the server to meet the more stable operation effect.

Server deployment puts the FineBI system on the server, and accesses the same BI system through the IP address, thereby realizing the role of the system platform and meeting the business activity requirements of the overall work of the enterprise.

FineBI Requires JDK version: JDK 1.8 and the minor version needs to be above JDK8u102. When deploying, it must be deployed according to the corresponding server and JDK version, otherwise it will not be available.

Note 1: The built-in JDK of all FanRuan products is Oracle OpenJDK.

Note 2: OpenLogic OpenJDK is not supported when deployed.

1. Number of Deployments

Here, under the same web server, FineBI and FineReport cannot be deployed at the same time, and when they are used at the same time, FineReport can be integrated into FineBI . If it is not used in an integrated manner, it needs to be divided into two server deployments.  

2. msvcr120.dll runtime library does not exist

Problem description

On Windows systems, when installing or deploying versions 5.1.15 and later, an error is reported msvcr120.dll runtime library does not exist.

Solution

It is recommended to install the msvcr120.dll file before deploying, missing file download See:Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest Supported Downloads

Note: This problem can only be solved by downloading Visual Studio 2010 (VC++ 10.0) SP1 version
