View the Corresponding Data Based On the Login Information - Example 1

  • Ⅰ. Overview

    1. Expected Scenario

    Sometimes users need to view corresponding data according to different login information.

    For example, different stores correspond to different salesmen, and the effect needs to be realized: after different users log in, the store number displays the store information belonging to the current user.


    2. Implementation ideas

    Configure the user's data permission to allow the corresponding user to view the data under their store account.

    Ⅱ. Prepare sample data

    Prepared data, you need to be able to associate users with data

    Note: Since real-time data does not support cross-database fusion analysis, if the three tables are real-time data tables from different databases, the method in this article is not applicable.

    1) Store dimension table: Contains store number and other store information.

    2) User table: contains the user account, password, corresponding store number, position and department of the store staff.

    3) Sales Details: The sales data that the corresponding personnel can see.

    Ⅲ. Data Preparation

    1. Create a new Excel dataset

    The administrator logs in to the Decisison-making System, clicks "Data Preparation", and adds the business package "Sample Data". As shown below:

    Enter the business package, add "Excel Dataset",and import the three data tables prepared above in turn. As shown below:

    Note: When adding each table, you need to modify the field type of "shop number" to "text", otherwise, some data in the field will be empty, resulting in failure to establish the association between subsequent tables.

    2. Establish data association

    Click]"Data Preparation", enter the business package, select "Store Dimension Table", click "Associated View", configure the association relationship for the "Store Dimension Table", "User Table" and "Sales Details Table" and update the data table. As shown below:

    Note: For the operation of adding an association relationship, refer to adding an association between tables .

    Ⅳ. Design the Dashboard

    1. Create a self-service dataset

    Note: Since the example uses the super administrator account, the super administrator is the data processing user by default, and the self-service dataset created under the common service package cannot inherit the permissions of the basic table, so it needs to be created under my self-service dataset.

    If you are using a data analysis user to create a self-service dataset, you can directly create it under the common business package and check permission inheritance .

    1) Select the user service package under "Data Preparation > Data List > My Self-Service Dataset", and click "Add Table > Self-Service Dataset". As shown below:

    2) Select all the fields of "Store Dimension Table" and "Sales Details Table" in the sample data to create a self-service dataset. As shown below:

    3) The created self-service dataset is shown in the figure below, please make sure that the "Permission Inheritance" button is turned on. As shown below:

    2. Making the Dashboard

    1) Create a "New Dashboard12" using the data of the self-service dataset, as shown in the following figure:

    3. Hanging out the dashboard

    Click "Manage > Directory" to mount the "New Dashboard12" to the directory list. As shown below:

    Ⅴ. Import users

    Support for adding users: manually adding, importing users, and synchronizing users.

    This chapter takes "Import User" as an example. Make sure that the imported user name is the same as the user name in the data table prepared above.

    1. Create a new server dataset

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, and clicks "Manage > Data Connection > Server Dataset" to create an Excel file data set, as shown in the following figure:

    The dataset name is "User Table", the file type is "Excel", and the file is selected as "User Table" prepared in Chapter 2, and click "Save". As shown below:

    2. Import users

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > User > All Users", and clicks "Import User".

    Select the added server data set "User Table", and set the corresponding "User Name, Password, Department Title", etc., and click "OK". As shown below:

    3. Set User Type

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > User > Platform User", and adds all the imported users as "PC User > BI User >BI Design User >BI Data Analysis User". As shown below:

    Note: If the user has permission to edit and view, please refer to: BI Design User , BI View User .

    Ⅵ. Permission configuration

    Note: This chapter takes the department as the authority carrier for authority configuration. Administrators can also set permissions based on roles or users. If the personnel in the headquarters do not want to be controlled, a role can be set for the headquarters for individual control.

    1. Assign viewing rights

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission > General Permission Configuration", and selects the rights carrier as "All Departments".

    Click Catalog Permissions to assign it the View permission for the dashboard in Catalog Permissions. As shown below:

    2. Set the field where the login user is located

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission> General Permission Configuration", and selects the rights carrier as "All Departments".

    Click "Data Authorization", click "Please Select" in the field where the login user is located, and select the "Account" field in "Sample Data > User Table", which is the user name of the corresponding user to log in to the system. As shown below:

    3. Set data usage rights

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clicks "Manage > Permission> General Permission Configuration", and selects the rights carrier as "All Departments".

    Click "Data Authorization" to configure "Use" permissions for the "Sample Data" business package for all departments. As shown below:

    4. Set data row permissions

    At this point, the user can see all the data. To display the store information belonging to the current user by the store number, it is necessary to configure the user data permission according to the store number of the store.

    Click the "Permission Settings" button after the "Store Dimension Table", add a row permission condition, select the "shop number" field in the "Store Dimension Table", and make it belong to the "shop number" under the "User Table" (login information). " field, click "OK" to save the settings. As shown below:

    Ⅶ. Effect View

    1) Log in with the user Alice account whose store number is 11011, view the dashboard, and see the information of store number 11011, as shown in the following figure:

    2) Log in with the demo account of the user whose store number is 12011, view the dashboard, and see the information of the store number 12011, as shown in the following figure:
