    Application Scenarios

If you want to share data in an analysis subect of My Analysis with other users, you can publish data to Public Data through Apply for Publication.

Then, other users can use the data in Public Data. The published data is shown in the following figure.

    Functions

Data in My Analysis that has applied for publication and obatined permissions will occur in the folder of Public Data.

The data creator or the parent data resource creator can apply for publication. Data for collaborated editing or use cannot be published by collaborative users.

A data table can only be published to one folder under Public Data.

    Lineage Level

If the lineage level of a dataset is greater than (X-3) and less than or equal to X at the same time, it will be highlighted in yellow.

If the lineage level of the dataset is greater than X, it will be highlighted in red. In this case, the dataset can still be applied for publication and successfully published. But it will be used with limits. For details, see Lineage Analysis.
