A KPI card is a component that visually and directly displays the KPI values (namely, values of selected fields).
For example, you can use a KPI card to display the sales, profit, and quantity.
The following table describes data requirements of KPI cards.

≥ 1
1. Advantage
Intuitiveness: Final data results can be intuitively displayed, allowing you to quickly grasp key data.
2. Disadvantage
Limited display: Only single data points can be displayed, which is insufficient for in-depth analysis.
You can use a KPI card to display the sales, profit, and quantity.
You can download the sample data: Supermarket Sales Data.xlsx.
Download the sample data and upload it to FineBI.
1. Click Component in the lower left corner.
2. Select KPI Card in Chart Type.
3. Drag Sales, Profit, and Quantity from the left to-be-analyzed area into Text, as shown in the following figure.
Click the setting icon next to Text and set the text content format.
The following describes the function of Fixed Font Size:
Selected: The size of fonts in the KPI card component is not subject to the component size change.
Deselected: The font size is adjusted accordingly when the KPI card component in the dashboard is resized.
The font size consistency in the KPI card will make the dashboard more attractive. You are advised to select Fixed Font Size.
The following table lists preset content formats.

1. If you are not satisfied with the custom content format, you can customize one. You can first select a preset format and modify the preset style.
Alternatively, you can click Edit, select another preset format in the rich text editor that pops up, and modify the preset format, as shown in the following figure.
2. In the rich text editor, you can manually write texts and set the font type, font size, font style (bold and italic), font color, and alignment for the texts.
3. You can also modify the column splitting to change the content layout of the KPI card so that the content can be input into each column.
You can click a column and modify the column splitting method.
You can click the area without columns and add a column to this row.
For example, you can change the component's column splitting layout from 1:1:2 to 2:2:4, as shown in the following figure.
4. If you are not satisfied with the customized content format, you can click Reset to restore to the original format settings.
You can also set shape conditions for the KPI card. For example, if your total sales goal is 20 million, you can display the goal achievement progress through shape attributes.
1. Click Shape Condition, expand the Sales(Sum) area, and click Add Condition to set specific conditions.
2. Configure different colors and shapes for different value ranges of sales. For example, if the sales are between 15 million and 20 million (excluded), the goal has been achieved by more than 3/4. In this case, you can set the shape to a 3/4 pie chart and the color to light red so that the goal achievement progress can be intuitively displayed.
3. Select Change Value Color with Condition to ensure that the displayed value colors match the colors set in Shape Condition.
The following figure shows the effect.
4. Select as the shape and then set the color if you only want to configure color conditions for values and do not want to display shapes.
1. Click the Add Dashboard button at the bottom of the analysis subject editing page.
2. Drag the component into the dashboard on the dashboard editing page, and view the final effect.
