    Application Scenarios

When you create dashboards for others to view, you will encounter issues such as deformation or incomplete display of the dashboard due to different screen resolutions, aspect ratios, switching between large and small screens, and browser zooming.

    For example:

    • The display of text components will vary significantly on computers with different resolutions.

    • The table cannot display all content even after wrapping.

In these cases, you can adjust the dashboard display status by setting adaption.

    Functions

After creating a dashboard, you can set adaption in the editing interface.

    Functions

    Description

    Base size when editing

    • Allow setting the size of the dashboard when editing it.

    • Support two sizes: Auto (default) and Fixed size.

    Adaptation rules when previewing

    • Adaptation rules on dashboard preview (directory, analysis subject, dashboard).

    • The adaptation rule options for preview will change based on the setting of the baseline size when editing.

    • Allow pre-setting in the dashboard editing interface, or modifying again in the preview interface (modifications made during preview will not be saved).

The adaptation rule options for preview will change based on the setting of the baseline size when editing.

    Application scenarios:

    1. Create visually complex report dashboards or cockpits.

    2. Dashboard with many floating components.

    • Original size (default)

    • Width adaptation: Ensure there is no blank space on either side and the content does not exceed the scrollbar.

    • Height adaptation: Ensure there is no blank space on either side and the content does not exceed the scrollbar

    • Screen adaptation: When editing the dashboard, the preview of content on one screen can also be displayed in the same way.

    Notes

    • The Internet Explorer 11 does not support this function.

    • By default, the baseline size is set to be Auto when editing, and the rules for preview are Layout and content scaling.

    • The settings of the adaptation rule for preview can only be seen in the preview dashboard.

    Auto

By default, the baseline size when editing is set to Auto.

The adaptation rule for preview is set to Layout and content scaling.

You can change to Layout scaling.

    Effect

    Set Layout and content scaling.

Layout and content scaling: When editing, the contents in the screen of the baseline size will stretch horizontally and vertically to fill the screen. The contents in the template will be scaled based on the current preview screen size and baseline size to display accordingly.
