Displaying Missing Time

Application Scenario

Sometimes, you may find that the date field misses some data.

To maintain the continuity of the line chart, the missing data needs to be complemented.

Function Description

You can change the settings of date fields in Dimension on the detailed settings page of Chart Component to display the missing time according to the current time groups.

Note:

The missing time to be filled in must be in a date field and the middle of the whole field.

Select Show Missing Time from the drop-down list of Registration date.

And FineBI will automatically fill in the missing time. For more details, see section "Application Scenario" in this document.

Prompt Content

Data is abnormal because the source table exceeds the data volume limit. Re-edit the table to keep the data volume within the limit or contact the administrator to solve the problem.

Triggering Condition

1. When editing the dashboard:

When you click Show Missing Time, the amount of data in Dimension will be calculated after the time dimension is completed. If the completed virtual missing data exceeds 300,000, an error message will appear, which prompts that the completed time data exceeds the limit.

2. When previewing the dashboard:

When you are editing the dashboard, the volume is legal. However, when previewing, the volume exceeds the limit because of dataset changing, causing the prompt that the completed time data exceeds the limit.
