Filtering Data of Working Days

Expected Effect

You may need to only display data of working days (Monday to Friday) in FineBI dashboards.

Implementation Method

To filter out data of working days and make the dimension column be grouped by year, month, and day, you can use the filter.

Use the filter, set the field grouping method of the time field to Week, and set the filter condition to Monday to Friday.

Adding a Component

1. Create an analysis subject with the public data Store sales statistics.

2. Go to the component editing page.

Using the Filter

1. Select Group Table and drag Sales Date and Sales Volume to Dimension and Indicator respectively.

2. To filter the data of working days with the dimension being grouped by year, month, and day, you can use the filter. 

Drag Sales Date to Filter and set Field Grouping Method to Week.

3. Filter Sales Date and set the filter condition as to be In, Fixed Value, and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 respectively, as shown in the following figure.
