Jumping to a Web Link

Application Scenarios

FineBI allows jumping to web pages after clicking components.

You want to jump to different web pages by clicking different field values. For example, clicking different titles in the table can jump to the corresponding help document pages as shown in the following figure.

You want to jump to a specific website by clicking the component. For example, clicking the component can directly jump to the homepage of the FineBI help document.

You can set to jumping to Web Link.

Creating a Component

To jump to different web pages by clicking different field values, you need to save corresponding URL links in the data source. The data used in this document contains links of different documents.

1. Upload the example data to FineBI, create an analysis subject with the data, and create a group table component.

Setting Jump

1. Add a dashboard, drag the created group table component into the dashboard, and set a jump for the component.

2. Go to the jump settings page and add the Link field into the Jump to area on the right.

Demonstration

Clicking the document title can jump to the corresponding document page.

You only need to jump to a fixed web page by clicking the component. For example, clicking any field value of the table component always jumps to the FineBI document homepage.

Creating a Component

Create the same component by following the same steps as above.

Setting Jump

1. Set the jump for this component. Enter the FineBI homepage URL https://help.fanruan.com/finebi-en/ in the Jump to area.

Demonstration

Clicking any field value of the component always jumps to the FineBI document homepage.
