Distinguishing the Amount of Resources Occupied by Daytime and Night Updates

Application Scenario

If there are many update tasks during the daytime, the computing resources of FineBI will be occupied, causing the analysis with the dashboard to slow down.

Therefore, you are advised to allocate resources in different periods. You need to limit resources occupied during the daytime and give more resources for updates at night.

Function Description

Modify the parameter DistributedOptimizationConfig.spiderConfig.spider_high_performance_resource_time to set the period for updating high-performance resources.

Changing the Period for Updating High-Performance Resources

1. Set System Parameter Value (value) to 19:00:00-08:00:00 (from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM the next day), and the update will occupy high-performance resources during the period.

Note:

The parameter can be set for a period spanning across days.

2. Click Save and restart FineBI to make the changes take effect.
