FineBI has always been committed to providing better services for customers. To meet customers' changing needs and continuously improve the practicality and adaptability of FineBI, FanRuan releases new versions of FineBI.
FineBI include major versions (suc as 4.0, 5.1, and 6.0) and minor versions (such as 6.0.5, 6.0.7, and 6.0.9).
You can locate the FineBI version more accurately based on the JAR package time.
Log in to the FineBI system as the admin and choose System Management > Registration Management > Version Information to view the project version number.
FanRuan's products have constantly been updated and iterated to meet customers' new needs and improve some functions of earlier versions. Currently, you can upgrade FineBI through two methods.
Cross-Version Upgrade
Represents that the product is upgraded from one major version to another major version (for example, from FineBI 5.1 to FineBI 6.0).
5.X - 6.0.5 Upgrade Guide
Minor Version Update
Represents that the product is updated continuously among minor versions (for example, from FineBI 6.0.4 to FineBI 6.0.9).
How to Upgrade FineBI Between Minor Versions
1. The cross-version upgrade does not allow you to upgrade FineBI across two major versions at once.
For example, if you want to upgrade FineBI from 4.0 to 6.0, you need to first upgrade FineBI to 5.1 and then to 6.0.
2. If you have integrated FineReport with FineBI for use, you can refer to the document Fine+ Version Compatibility Instruction before upgrade.
